We are men, men of the modern era, of the 21st century, who thrive to survive in this mad world of greed and chaos. Little do kindness and trust surface our actions anymore. In everyone no doubt there is sin and deed, but how do you justify someone as being sinful or helpful?
This debate faces both views and cannot be related to what is right or wrong. "In a man's eyes one is a terrorist but in the other, a freedom fighter". Are we so busy at times that we ignore the fact that others need our help? Let me put it this way..."particularly" our help and no others? Or do we just don simply bother because it is not in our most interest to seek the truth.
"Good deed never goes unpunished", happens to everyone. Sometimes we try to out-perform by being good and kind, it doesnt matter. Being kind is great, the world needs more people like that. Kindness comes with humbleness, not greatness like the pharisees being labelled white-wash-tombs.
Then again, there are those who wish to be ignorant, who rather stay silent and not bother about dilemmas. Are they wrong to be safe? I cannot justify that in a sense that i am a little bit of both. It depends what you're up against and where your heart desires. It is not right to say that someone is wrong if he/she is unhelpful, nor say he/she is right if kind. Yes indeed good is right and bad is wrong, but keeping to yourself or being open is not an act for judgement, it is a trait i suppose, inheritted and adapted from values, beliefs and the environment.
A thief cannot be said is wrong and guilty of stealing money, indeed his act of robbing is wrong, unless...........unless done with full understanding of the situation and consequences. His actions cannot be said right too, because he has caused others discomfort. On one side of the law, the act of stealing is wrong, but on his side, he may really need the money to support his family/pay bills etc. Also, it is the environment he grew up in. You cannot blame a child for having 11 fingers can you. Law in courts, can be twisted and retwisted, but facts cannot. Facts leave no room for doubts and possibilities which hang between the line of understanding someone's situation.
Being selfish is not a fact, nor is being kind but it leaves room for possibilities of later actions. All i can say and wish is that, people be more kind and helpful=). Sacrificing a minute doesnt mean you lose a minute, but at least you put that good minute to see someone smile.
